It is focused towards software application and computer hardware. Information Technology deals with computers software to store, transmit, process, protect, convert and retrieve information. The main factors on which the software development depends upon is cost effectiveness, compliance through innovative software products, solutions and services. For instance in the current scenario Computer Aided Design is in much demand. It is used in many applications like industrial and architectural design, automotive, aerospace industries, prosthetics, shipbuilding, computer animation, special effects in movies, advertising and technical manuals.
In the initial days it was based on programming language like Fortran, but with advancement in object oriented programming, CAD switched over to C (Programming Language). The interaction of graphical user interface (GUI) and NURBS geometry has built up a CAD system. This is via a geometric modeling kernel. Presently, CAD systems is available in all the platforms like QCAD, NX it gives multiplatform support which consists of Windows, Linux, UNIX, and Mac OS X.
IT professionals pursue the task of installing applications, designing complex computer networks and information database. A few of the task that IT professional performs are networking, management and administration of entire system, engineering computer hardware, data management, database and software design. The field is also spreading in other areas like automobiles, television, cell phones and so on. Software development depends largely on team performance and communication skills. Communication skills are very important, because until and unless the person communicates he will not able to understand and propagate information.
